There is a character in an RPGMaker game who starts with a negative affection value that is improved through conversation. However, several of the most recent conversations seem to be bugged because they don't change the value like the wiki says they should.

I don't want to replay 6 hours of game-time to try it again, so can someone tell me how to manipulate negative values? Something basic, like changing -28 to -13
